The SdotCurls 35th Birthday Gift Guide

Each year, I create a wishlist of items I’d love to have. In my 20’s, I’d create a list that matched my age - so 24 items for my 24th birthday - at 35, the list has gotten higher in quality and much, much shorter. Why create these lists, you ask? My birthday is the day after Christmas and anything you’ve ever heard about it…is true. Birthday parties are pretty nonexistent, Christmas/birthday gifts are easily ‘combined’, and for some odd reason, people with birthdays that don’t fall on or immediately following/preceding a major holiday find it completely acceptable to suggest I “just celebrate it on another day”.

Anyway, this is my 35th-year list. It’s loaded with brands I’ve fallen in love with either for their luxurious fabrics, sustainable practices, functionality, or all of the above. 1. Bleusalt. I am thoroughly and completely obsessed with this brand. The fabric feel can easily be compared to being wrapped in a cloud and everything is machine-washable, sustainable, and made in the U.S. I’ve been collecting pieces for a little over a year and can’t get enough.
